The Sydney city in Australia hit 45.8°C breaking 1939 record of 45.3°C. Its hot and everywhere is heated out there to the extent of triggering bush-fires.

The Hot weather alert - "Showground were also warned to drink plenty of water and wear protective clothing and sunscreen".

It was also reported that at Sydney airport, the temperature was even higher - 46.4°C.
I feel for them though.
