LCGC & Friends presents Musical Live Concert - 'Beyond the Music' on Sunday 26th May 2013

Lagos Community Gospel Choir (LCGC) will be hosting an uplifting, inspiring and imaginative concert tagged “Beyond Music”. Headed by award winning music director Tim Godfrey and backed by professional band One Nation, the musical event will bring together the unique sounds from Nigeria; Panam Percy Paul, Timi Dakolo, Bouqui, Lara George, Modele, Tosin Martins, Eben, and Cobhams Asuquo.

Already trending on social media under the hash tag #BeyondMusic, the event is rumoured to be bringing a new experience to gospel music; the LCGC way. The Director LCGC, Bunmi George stated...
 ”We see ourselves as ambassadors in the music arena and with this concert, we are taking the message of our King to a world that needs that message of hope and healing like never before“.

Admission to this event has been tagged FREE

Lagos Community Gospel Choir is the celebrated resident choir of This Present House. LCGC’s vision is to bring a strong and clear sound of God to the city of Lagos and to the nations of the world. LCGC is a passionate and inspiring group of men and women of diverse backgrounds, professions and callings, who share a love for music that is skilled, and worship that is deep.

The Tribe of Benjamin, also known as TOB, is a worship team subset of LCGC. TOB has a mandate to assist the congregation to reach a place of deep intimacy and fellowship with God during church services. One Nation, a multi-dimensional band of instrumentalists and professional musicians, is another arm of the Lagos Community Gospel Choir. Over the years, LCGC has grown in strength and depth, serving as a formidable platform for leadership development, mentoring and capacity building.
