Facebook wants to be the new e-payment platform

Facebook social network is working on fast and easy purchase, a payment information with mobile apps. This will allow E-shoppers to purchase items on-the-go by inputing Facebook login details to bypass the hassle of entering billing information.

This is to make mobile payments faster and easier, requires users to have a credit card on file, attached to their Facebook account. But Facebook will have to get its users trust since Facebook doesn’t have the same kind of reputation that PayPal has, and many users may not feel comfortable giving it their credit card info.

The new service is to go up against PayPal, but also Google, Amazon. Expected to start within the next month.
